Persatuan Taekwondo Negeri Sarawak (WTF) hosted the Sarawak State Taekwondo (WTF) Championship 2012 on the 5 & 6 May 2012 at University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Kota Samarahan which drew in 180 young exponents from various affilaite clubs throughout Sarawak.
Sarawak Taekwondo (WTF) Team win 4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze to emerge the Overall Champion title in the 15th Malaysia Games (SUKMA) 2012 Taekwondo (WTF) event that ended in University Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Kuantan on 6 July 2012.
